Thomas Gold whom help put Man on the moon reviewed the evidence on the moon and published his findings in Science 26th September 1969 called Apollo 11 Observation of Remarkable Glazing Phenomenon on the Lunar Surface. I read the article he said the heat source had to be some huge solar flare or nova like event of the sun. Not a super nova like you are thinking. He also said the side facing the sun much of the atmosphere would be blown out into space. He doesnt expand on what would happen on the back side of the earth. As the atmosphere on the back side of the earth rushes to fill the void Boyle's law applies. As a gas expandes it cools. In this case in northern latitudes temperatures would drop to freeze animals almost instantly. That's why all those frozen mammoths were found. This is for real. I suggest you take the time and watch his videos. Most of his papers he quotes are written by other scientists. |
