I'm no doubt going to get "push back" on this little
tid-bit I found while searching for more information on
Immanuel Velikovsky (and how his material might dove-tail
to Douglas Vogt's disclosure on the catastrophe from a
Solar Micro-Nova event.) I say that because the Great Pyramid
at Giza is NOT ONLY A FAMOUS STRUCTURE...it also has its
own modern-day "cult" which ties-in lots of woo-woo stuff
not related to science or archeology. I'm HOPING we can
just look at the video on its own merits. It is an important
revelation I don't think many know about yet.

I do NOT post this to derail the thread into Egypt mythology,
Goddess discussion, etc. I just want to add to the thread
information that confirms Immanuel Velikovsky had a "take"
on "the purpose of the Great Pyramid."

Get this...Velikovsky believed (and wrote in his "Worlds
in Collision" according to the video below) that the Great
Pyramid at Giza (not ALL the pyramids, just this biggest one)
had the purpose to giving the ROYAL FAMILY "a fall-out
shelter" against the "next" global cataclysm!"

Frankly, my jaw-dropped as I was watching this video because this
fits right in with what I understand Vogt talking about
in terms how what one would need to survive the next
Solar Micro-Nova Event...and that if Velikovsky is correct,
then the ancient fathers KNEW about these cycles-of-disaster
and actually acted to ensure at least SOME would survive it
(the "elites of Egypt" of course.)

OF THE GREAT PYRAMIDS AT GIZA...
Basically "fall-out shelters" and observatories for refugees
inside to determine--by checking the stars positions through
the ventilation shafts--whether the pole shift had been completed and it might be safe to go outside. 17 Minute
mark shows a photo of great blocks used in the ceiling has
been "SNAPPED" with evidence of a possible explosion--a
possible "plasma discharge" which would be part of the
Solar Micro Nova, as Vogt and others have suggested. It is
obvious from damage INSIDE that the Pyramids at Giza have
been through at least ONE "great cataclysm." (This would
make the age of the Great Pyramid at Giza older than 12,000
years old--as suggested by Robert Shoch and Steven Mehler
--assuming that this last global disaster was the 12,500 b.c. disaster.)

I don't know about you...but seeing the Great Pyramid at
Giza as a "fall-out shelter for the next Solar Micro-
nova/Galactic Superwave" is a REALLY FANTASTIC THEORY
which now, in 2019 with the Vogt and Davidson information
seems much less "far out there" than it would have seemed
in the 1970's when scientists were attacking Velikovsky
for his amazing theories.
