Brave Wilderness
All journeys eventually come to an end & what an epic journey through the insect sting pain index this man undertook. Anyone else followed Brave Wilderness as he travelled the world in search of the most painfull insect stings?

Here is a couple of his video's of the executioner wasp & the Japanese giant hornet. Other great video's include the bullet ant & the tarrantula hawk.

Anyone here on GLP ever been stung by any of these? or stood on lego in the dark?

the tarantula hawk should've been below the executioner wasp video

he said that was way worse than the asian giant hornet

the giant hornet is just size shock fuel, but it's good to present before the executioner wasp

I usually start with tarantula hawk myself

I had forgot about this thread Wharf Rat. I suppose we will be coming into the summer soon & there will be lots of different stinging insects people all over the world face as we move through the year.

Here is another one from Brave Wilderness. A Bee beard goes wrong for Coyote Peterson in this episode. I am assuming he gets stung & that drives the other workers into joining in.

Thank you for the pin Wharf Rat I am humbled & greatly thankful. cheers

This guy has some stones to do what he has done in the name of science. hf

When i made the thread at the time I just picked the videos by the thumbnails before I had got the chance to see where he had rated them in his pain index friend.
I had always heard that the tarantula hawk was the worse sting before watching this guys videos & seeing his reaction
to some insect species like the executioner wasp. I had never heard of this species of wasp until I seen it on his show. hf

Love my tarantula hawks, I have them here all summer- red ones, orange ones, blue and green ones too. Only been stung once because I was annoying it repeatedly and it finally got tired of my crap and nailed me. 1rof1 I had that one coming so it's all good.

How painful did it feel Shiva ascendant? I have only been stung by a common wasp & a bumblebee. The bumblebee stung me behind my ear & had quite a kick to it. I was around 8 year old at the time.
I was stung in between the toes by a wasp multible times before i knew what was happening. I thought it was a bit of thistle stuck between my toes & reached down to move it & got stung on the finger as well. chuckle

We forget sometimes that there are saints living among us.
When we meet them, we are reminded, not just of the presence
of pure divinity right here on earth, but also of our own potential,
and of the responsibility we have to try to live up to it ~
for our own sakes and for the very future of this planet.

Coyote is a crazy man. I think he gets off on the pain to be honest. Or maybe he's just an adrenaline junkie, but the dude catches black widows and just lets them crawl around his hand like it's no big deal.
