Have you heard The Hum? The throbbing noise that just won't go away?
It's a menace that drives thousands to distraction and has been blamed on everything from UFOs to nuclear submarines. A scientist claims he's found the cause. Our man (who's heard it) listens in...
To the unaffected, it sounds suspiciously like a case of mass hysteria. It is the stuff of dark conspiracies, cover-ups and general spookiness. But to 'sufferers', if that is the right word, this mysterious throbbing noise, which never goes away and exists right on the brink of perception, is real and concrete enough to ruin lives.

I have only experienced 'The Hum' - at least, I assume it was The Hum - once. I was about eight or nine years old, and I remember becoming aware of a rumbling noise, half-way between a distant pneumatic drill and a badly tuned diesel engine. It happened in the dead of night, and kept me awake for hours.

Re: Have you heard The Hum? The throbbing noise that just won't go away?
as a teenager i huffed gas a few times...
each time i heard this sound...it came from FAR away but always the same direction.
i followed the sound once, in my mind, like remote viewing..

i saw it.
it is the thing that makes the sound that goes everywhere is always there even when we dont hear it.
its always there.

so this thing was like a building in a sense with tendrils of a sort that went down into the ground, MELDED with the ground, like its actually a part of the ground.

the colors are super ugly, dirty browns, blacks, greys, filthy yellows, just all natural colors that are somehow changed to something grotesque.

this building thing is alive.its a living thing and has a slow heartbeat.you can hear the heartbeat because its the hum itself.
its the same thing.

i went back to look at this place a couple of times and it was always there, evil squatting breathing thing.
i had a feeling it made all this here...like we are products of its life.
i know it sounds bat shit crazy and if i hadnt seen it myself i would think so too.

dont huff gas or you might see it.
ill never get it out of my head.
i hope im just insane and i was all wrong.
i hope so.

I did that too. Before I blacked out I had a prophetic vision of 9/11, and this was in the 1980's. A friend was with me when I was apparently doing 'automatic speech' and he told me what I said. There are better ways to do prophecy...don't huff gas, it feels good at first but goes to a dark place.

On the hum - I used to be more aware of it, but not recently. The tinnitus is quite intense sometimes, I don't know if it is related.

It was very abstract, relating to an attack by Arabs on NYC. It came through more in the automatic speech with phrases like 'arabic evil' and 'burning towers'. These were keywords that came out among the gibberish that my friend picked up on (he was not huffing), and the images were a collage of what I recall as fire and smoke in the sky. At the time we relegated it to hallucinations, but looking back, it was a curious portent. Thats the way prophecy works sometimes, to me prophets are cursed, I've had a few other non-gas related, nothing good or useful ever comes of it. Seems kind of pointless, like a novelty.

i get the ear frequency blasts, not tinnitus, which is all the time constant sound.
i feel for you OP!
we are without any defense to sounds, they could kill us so easily by one shot of the frequencies.
i keep wanting to get some kind of aluminum foil ear plugs but there are no such things and hence, no way to protect ourselves.

and absolutely NO WAY to protect ourselves from that building or the sound it makes...

i likened it to the real devil if there is one.
i have no idea whats inside of it because the building like thing seemed to be its body.
its so ugly and reeks of evil bad things.

It could be possible you picked up a element from the gasoline huffing. Im not afraid of the sound, to me its the sound of the universe.

remote viewers say:

The disclosure of this objective was "The cause of what is known as the Taos Hum".

The first thing that every viewer describes is a mountain - a natural land form, and they write it as such. It's very large and prominent like a mountain. Every session also describes a flow and a soaring, and nature/natural aspects. An expanse of land with large landforms. They also describe with this a joy and peacefulness.

As the sessions progress the viewers begin to all describe a hole in a natural land form/mountain and pressure that moves in and out of it. The other thing they describe is, well, an ear.

Some specific notes from the sessions:

"Feels like a funnel" (viewer draws picture of a hole on a natural landform)

"Feels like going into the belly of a structure"

"Like falling into a suck or hollow"

"Mouth like feature at the edge of cliff"

The viewers then describe an "ebb and flow" into the mouth like opening on the cliff/mountain - they also relate this to an ear on a subject!

"Like a balloon blowing up"

"Pulling in motion"

"Opening and closing, sliding in back and forth"

"Distinct in and out"

"Like inserting ones head into an opening"

"Sensitive ear"

So, what do we NOT get here in the data from the Remote Viewers.

We do not get any language around any secret government programs, no idling engines or mechanical parts doing mechanical things. No Alien bases. No nothing to suggest anything related to these types of theories.

What the data does suggest is that the cause of the hum is more of an environmental condition than anything else. The pressure gradients of the local atmosphere as well as the possibility of that pressure moving in and out of the caves surrounding the Taos area. The other side of this is a certain type of sensitivity within certain individuals to experiencing this maddening vibration.

Obviously it will take more taskings on different angles with regard to why certain individuals hear it, but overall there appears to be a more mundane explanation to this.

ive felt this same way deep down since they started.

also, the frequecy bursts seem to come from inside of my head, too and sometimes they even make shapes.

The Hum zones
Bristol, England, was one of the first places on Earth where the Hum was reported. In the 1970s, about 800 people in the coastal city reported hearing a steady thrumming sound, which was eventually blamed on vehicular traffic and local factories working 24-hour shifts.

Another famous hum occurs near Taos, N.M. Starting in spring 1991, residents of the area complained of a low-level rumbling noise. A team of researchers from Los Alamos National Laboratory, the University of New Mexico, Sandia National Laboratories and other regional experts were unable to identify the source of the sound.

Windsor, Ontario, is another Hum hotspot. Researchers from the University of Windsor and Western University in London, Ontario, were recently given a grant to analyze the Windsor Hum and determine its cause.

Researchers also have been investigating the Hum in Bondi, a seaside area of Sydney, Australia, for several years, to no avail. "It sends people around here crazy — all you can do is put music on to block it out. Some people leave fans on," one resident told the Daily Telegraph.

Back in the United States, the Kokomo Hum was isolated in a 2003 study financed by the Indiana city's municipal government. The investigation revealed that two industrial sites — one a Daimler Chrysler plant — were producing noise at specific frequencies. Despite noise-abatement measures, some residents continue to complain of the Hum.

Yikes!!!

I have heard something a few times that might feel like that, if you get me. My ears ring all the time, but a few times, the tone became a really low hum like that. It about knocked me sideways each time it occurred. Similar to one walking and falling into a hole.

Hope it does not happpen again.

The only way I have found to not be affected by the tones/frequencies, is to block it out mentally by doing something physical or reading/watching intently. It helps, but has taken many years to learn to do that.

I do not think there is a substance that will help with that, but if one is found, would like to try it.

That being said, I also think most of the tones I hear are 'beneficial,' minus those low tones that affected me so.

Fear sucks (although sometimes is necessary.)

I do not see anything, more often than not, but get feelings and they are visual for me, if you get me. LOL

For you, sacred geometry might have answers. ;)

Re: Have you heard The Hum? The throbbing noise that just won't go away?
I get a low hum sound as im falling asleep. It started after i began taking ormus. I dont take ormus all the time, only on the best of days, when im having a great day i will take a little ormus. The chinese call that sound the hu.
It could be possible you picked up a element from the gasoline huffing. Im not afraid of the sound, to me its the sound of the universe.

Interesting sync.

Ormus is not for everyone, and those with 'gifts' should especially be very respectful of it, IMO.

I love this sound, but can only tolerate it for a limited amount of time. I could not do an hour of it.

Yep, ormus is not for everyone. hf

Did you intuitively know to take it only when you were feeling good, or was it a trial by error thing?

yes the sound seems to create everything..but the sound is coming from inside that building thing.
its making the world around itself.
thats what i thought anyway.

Is it "The Void?" The space of no-space?
 Quoting: LilMiss

your void and my void might be two different things..

when you say void, i see the dark blob that eats worlds and dimensions, everything.
its eats space and the very atoms of existence itself.
