Re: Marital problems and no one to talk to. Therapist? I’m having marital problems, and I literally don’t have anyone to talk to.
Would a therapist genuinely help? Anyone been in this position and had success with a therapist?
Not a marriage counselor, as I believe my spouse is too disengaged for that, I mean one for me.
Any input from someone who has been there and has first-hand experience welcome. I don’t want to waste money on a therapist if I’m headed for a divorce (my wife stands to take everything), but I’m not sure where she is and I can’t talk to her about it, but I feel like I need to bounce what I’m experiencing off of someone before proceeding to a new journey this late in life. I did the therapist thing and they incouraged me to end the marriage which I regretted in later years.
I would suggest a Priest.
