Prayer Warriors of GLP, I have some other prayer requests I would ask that you stand in agreement with me upon as I beseech Our Heavenly Father

I created a post on my webpage where I write my prayer requests, not to toot my own horn by any means but because Jesus says where two or more stand in agreement and ask the Father for anything in His name it will be done for them. I put it up so that others may be able to read them and help me stand in agreement. The prayers of the righteous availeth much, as the book of James tells us. I am not righteous by any stretch of the imagination but it is ONLY my faith in Jesus Christ that replaces my psuedo-righteous filthy rag deeds with HIS righteousness.

I dont want to seem like I'm peddling my own blog either so I will just copy and paste some of the prayers here:

- For the whole Body of Christ, whose faith and love for Christ helps to strengthen my own faith and as the Apostle Paul shows through his example, it is right to give thanks and praise for these Brothers and Sisters of Christ.

- For all those in authority that we may find a quiet and peaceable life in godliness and honesty.

- For those who we know in our lives who hate us; old friends, lovers we’ve wronged or even lovers who we have never wronged but who betrayed us and broke our heart and trust, people who have hurt us, lied to us, stole from us, disrespected us, and even those who have hurt the people that we love. May we find forgiveness in our heart for them and if we can’t then may Jesus forgive them when we can’t forgive them in our own strength, and may Jesus empower us through His Holy Spirit, so that we might forgive all people who trespass against us, because it is only in doing so that God can forgive us of all our wrongdoing.

- For wisdom, guidance and instruction – which according to the Book of James, God gives to those who ask Him. Wisdom to know how to make decisions and to act appropriately upon the tough choices we must make to please God rather than choosing to do things according to the flesh to please others. Guidance from the Holy Spirit to lead us into situations where God can use us to encourage or edify someone else. Instruction – clear instruction – so we will know the words to say or what to do in these Spirit-led situations.

- For all those who are suffering, starving, homeless, thirsty, sick, dying, facing all kinds of difficulties, loss of jobs, broken relationships, bills they can’t afford to pay, addictions that are destroying their lives, those who are utterly alone, cold, broken, sorrowful, those on the verge of suicide, those suffering in grief for the loss of family or loved ones, for all orphans and widows and those suffering from mental illness all around the world.

- For all sinners – no matter how heinous their sins – no matter how horrible or shameful their deeds – everyone on the planet that is still living in sin, that doesn’t know the salvation that Jesus is waiting to give them. May they come to repentance and find Grace and Mercy for their souls and may they accept Jesus Christ into their hearts as their Lord and Savior so that they too can have a life-changing relationship with Him just as I’ve found and may they be saved, as it is said that God doesn’t want any of them to perish.

- For women all over the world; for the women I have personally sinned against, either through word or deed; that the Lord Jesus restore years that my ‘locusts’ of sinful pride, lust, unfaithfulness and deception ate from their life and that Jesus heal every wound and emotional scar that my actions inflicted upon them. May they find peace, joy and prosperity but above all else that these women may come to know Jesus Christ and find true love and truly fulfilling relationships in Him. For all the countless other women I have sinned against remotely by objectifying their bodies, either in passing which I lusted after in my hearts, or those I lusted after through all the countless pornographic videos and content I’ve consumed over the thirty years of my life; that every one of them find dignity, respect and worth as daughters of the Most High God and may the Love and Mercy of Jesus Christ cover their shame and may they all be set free from sin and shame – and for all women everywhere who are hurting, broken, disgraced and humiliated by sinful, selfish men like me and may Jesus help all men respect all women everywhere and treat them as Sisters and not as sexual objects or fleshly idols.

- For God to take my “life” completely – my hopes, fears, dreams, desires, goals, plans, my knowledge, my passions, my very identity and everything I thought I knew to be “me” because there is nothing good in me, nor is there anything in me that is pleasing to God for all the things I’ve done in my own flesh are as filthy rags, compared to the righteousness required to please Him. The only thing I could ever do is put all my trust and faith in Jesus Christ and the redeeming power of His blood shed on the Cross. I want to be friends with Jesus and as He said, there is no greater love than one who would lay their life down for their friends and so I lay my life down for Him because He laid His life down for me because He loves me and wants to be my friend and Brother. I am ‘poor in spirit’ as there is nothing in me that could ever make me worthy of such a love and everything I thought I had or thought I was is nothing at all, but Jesus is everything and I need Him in every moment of every day to live His life through me – to make this vessel of dishonor that is “me” into a vessel of honor by the workings of His Holy Spirit in and through me and its His life in me that enables me to do things which please God; so may I die completely and fully to my own thoughts, my own pride, my own words, my own desires, and may I take every thought captive in Christ Jesus; may He also bridle my tongue and help me to speak only the words that He wants me to say as life and death are in the power of the tongue so if they be my words then it is death speaking but if they be His words spoken through me than it his His life being spoken to others.

- May I ever call to mind the faithfulness and amazing grace and mercy of Jesus who has forgiven me of all of my sins – past, present and future – that through His blood, I am now reconciled to God, which means that God no longer sees my sin but His Son, Jesus Christ, in me. Because of this I crucify all feelings of guilt, shame and fear once and for all and put them to death so that Jesus can truly raise up this vessel I called “me” as a new creature, through His Resurrection Power, that I have died to the “old man” and every day, even every moment if necessary, I be reminded of this dead man who is gone for good and passed away and I am truly made new; it is no longer “me” that lives but Christ living in me and through me which is the biggest honor and greatest blessing I could ever hope to receive in this life. I thank you and praise you, Jesus, for not only have you saved me but you have done so completely. May I remember always that Jesus is not judging me or looking down upon me when I do sin but now He is interceding for me, praying for me and advocating for me! When I slip up, He is there to catch me before I fall and no matter how low I may feel, there is therefore now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus and nothing present nor things to come can separate me from the Love of God which I have found in Jesus, my Lord, my Savior, my Rock and my Redeemer!
