I grew up under a Narcissistic step-father. Long story.

I cut ties in January of 2006 and haven't said more than a handful of sentences to him since. Have seen him twice since then and neither time was a good experience.

Sometimes you gotta cut your losses and move on... even when it is someone you are supposed to "love". Or someone who is supposed to love you.

I have some lifelong friends that SUCK, that is suck the positive out of me through their ranting about all that is not good in their lives and the world in general. After spending time with them I feel like I was washed with negative energy. I even have a tendency to become more alike to their mindset.

But no longer - in the future I will be at best a fair weather friend ... briefly nice and moving away from such things.

I still need to work on charging up my positive, I'm hoping someday my positive will be something I can share but I'm not there, yet !

bullshit! a person i call a friend is there, has been there and will be there for me through thick and thin. they along with family will bring you energy and strength. this all goes back to them having positive energy. a person who sucks the live from you is not a friend!

What I’m doing is exactly that, giving information as a form of love. Give your loved ones information that may help them. So you must be a seeker of truth to pass the information on....

You can’t absorb a demon lol. You can be influenced until you make bad choices that feeds them and get them stronger. Addictions are the strongest demons. You fed that addiction so much it went from enjoying a beer or two to being an alcoholic for example. That’s a work of a true demon. The idea is for you NOT to react when your environment is in chaos. I know, easier said than done. You must be zenned out to not be influenced and that takes a lot of patience and persistence.

Have you noticed that when you cease communications with somebody, they get vile kind of ugly?

I have had some of the nastiest voice mail messages left for me because I wouldn't answer the phone or return calls for that person.

I would listen to the vile messages left & wonder if they could hear themselves.

Why the hell would I want to talk with someone like that?

What if we dont want to ? Being empath, cant we fight this demon off of its host with our positive energy .... i find myself still being happy , positive everyday , even though my wife is miserable all the time almost nonstop . We practically got divorced a shortwhile back but git things back on track .. it effects me but i am real quick to get my mind back to the right place . Like if i start thinking in the wrong direction about negative things , in a split second i can bring on oositive energy and lighten back up .... i should beable to help her , my energy is definetely stronger .. only time i really fell victim was when i got fired and we split up the same day ... took me a few weeks but i got my mind right then went after her again ....

Im attracted to her . There is an unatural force pulling us together .

After my 1st paranormal experience in life at age 31 (1994) someone at the Unitarian Universalist church (after service coffee gathering of mostly truth seakers) recommended it to me. It changed my life. The prophesies weren't as powerful as its basic motto:

"where attention goes energy flows".

Once learning to "see that", the rest of the book and the follow-on books and studdy guides basically just show how to monitor that the flows are purchases not thefts (of my own OR of others to me). "Control dramas" = thefts and there is good advice how to counter act those, and they're especially good with family members and pets where "cord cutting" (OP's concept) is off the table for the sake of children and pets and commitments.

After I read all of the Redfield book series I finally saw the movie and of course I was dissapointed. It was so magical and fantastic that the core concept of the basic motto seemed to get lost. FWIW, I just googled it... I don't think I've read the 12th insite... the 10th was the last I remember actually reading. IDK past the 9th if it was worth it since at that point it seemed like fiction/fantastcal... beyond my comprehension. So this vid is interesting to me now. Sorta like the 2012 was the end of the Myan prophesies... I think mankind is producing "the Son Of Man" now ... and will be faced with a new level of service and conceptual appreciation... like bluetooth to the brain, etc.
