What a frikin' joke. I an a sales rep, most of my accounts are in Chicago. It is a sespool of humanity. I drive through the city, and it is mile after mile of torn up, burned out, and borded up buildings. To put this shit hole on a top ten list just proves that you should never believe anything you read. There is one part of the city, the north side, where Wrigley Field is located, is nice, the rest of it should be nuked from orbit.

I grew up in Chicago and now live just outside in the suburbs. I also worked in the city for many years. It is a complete and total shithole. There is absolutely not one positive thing that comes to mind about Chicago except they do have excellent food. Pizza, beefs, brats, hotdogs, etc.

I will say that it was tolerable during the Michael Jordan era but that's about it.

Also, I installed a burglar / fire alarm in the 90s in Obama's house on the south side. By Chicago home standards it was nice but I still considered that to be a shithole house in a shithole neighborhood.

As soon as the last kid graduates high school I'm leaving this shithole, retarded, liberal, gay state asap.

I'll learn how to make homemade pizza that is comparable on my own. I really truly hate this place.

I wouldn't want to live there but I have always enjoyed visiting.

What a joke, I live in the Naperville area, it’s super nice here. No crime. I work at Midway, fucking shithole area, in fact the majority of the city is a giant boarded up, run down wasteland full of gangs and crime.

Downtown is really not even that nice and as someone else said, the crime has been seeping into the main touristy downtown area the last few years. I moved up here for a nice job, but I think in the next year or two I’m going to leave this shithole and head out west somewhere.

Also the weather sucks here.
