Re: Hi all!
While waiting to sort out the situation, your supplement regimen should include at a minimum:

Magnesium, Vitamin D3 (along with 15 to 30 minutes of unfiltered sunlight daily on bare skin if you can manage it), Coenzyme Q-10, Vitamin C (liposomal is most effective and several migs daily), and the recommended 3.7 liters (male) or 2.7 liters (female) of water daily. Yes, I know it makes you pee frequently.

If you use THC for pain, or CBD as a therapeutic, be mindful of cannabinoids impact on liver clearance of your blood thinners. IE, like complications related to grapefruit, these products impede the enzymatic degradation (by CYP) of blood thinners leading to increased half-life within your system. Large doses of THC is not particularly harmful in what little literature exits, but practicable and recommended CBD doses remain way to high in general, so go small!

Prayer and peaceful meditation is of relevance here, in any form you may utilize, as is a great sense of humor and ample opportunity for daily chuckles. Attitude plays large.

Finally, I hope you are not on statins but Im not about to go head to head with your physicians recommendations. I left a career in cardiology over this issue (among others) and am not interested in replaying those battles on a venue like this.

God bless.

Re: Hi all!
Your concern is much appreciatedI I keep having a series of small strokes and have trouble doing much of anything. I do recall something about having problems with whatever the process is for replacing Paypal so that didn't happen for me. Still lurk much of the time now.

Would like to mention 2 things I am most affected by personally at the moment--my doctors are unable to give a definitive answer to what is wrong since heart monitors DO NOT WORK VERY WELL IN RURAL AREAS, thanks to Sprint's not finding it profitable to maintain cell towers out here --and they control ALL the heart monitoring company's contracts! (Emergency services in my county ditched Sprint several years ago) The cardiologists in the area are going nuts; one wanted to stick a camera down my throat and the latest one wants to microchip me.

I am going to move back to Houston area to our families home as soon as I relocate my big guard dog since family's older, grouchy dogs do not tolerate newcomers. Max is an affable cross of retreiver/labrador known as a goldador. 4 years old, perfectly house broken. He gets along with kids, cats and other dogs. Basically everyone unless they are on the other side of his dogrun fence. He was dumped on me by an acquantaince who got me to keep him while she closed on house and moved---that was 3 years ago and I have no idea where she is. Doesn't matter; I love this dog and am going to make sure he is ok. Max was diagnosed with glaucoma this spring and will be blind in a couple of years. He needs to go to a new home while he can still see. I need to move back in with family while I can still function somewhat.

What is your state? I would gladly take your dog and have experience with both deaf and blind dogs. Dogs are my favorite people. :) I would keep your dog only until you could reclaim him. Perhaps a series of GLPers would drive him from your home to mine? I'm assuming he gets along with other dogs - I have two smaller ones - 8 lbs and 20 lbs.

Praying for your health situation and glad you are going where you can get appropriate care not controlled by cell phone towers!!

Re: Hi all!
Hey there, Ms. Ralph :) So glad to hear you are still with us, not so glad to hear you are having health issues.

I really hope that someone on GLP can take your dog for you so that you can make the move to Houston. Not sure where you are now, but my mom is in the same boat with shoddy cell phone tower reception. Living rural in our older years seems to be a problem :( You'd think they'd have that infrastructure in place by now with all the money they charge!

Glad to hear from you and I hope we'll hear from you again soon! Prayers for your health and happiness!!

Re: Hi all!
I'm sorry to hear about your health problems. If you are high risk for strokes, you really need to load up on Co-Q10. My father-in-law had a massive stroke in an area of the brain that is usually fatal, but he survived with no residual effects at all. We attribute his survival to Co-Q10. His doctors were amazed at his recovery. They had scheduled him for a 2 week recovery program, but sent him home after 2 days.
Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.
