Yes, its the peace pipe and its why I never criticize teenage boys who smoke it, never.

Calms them down when their testosterone is racing and piking many times a day.

Without the side affects of prescription drugs that in turn, have side effects of causing pyschopathic and even murderous outbreaks in teens.

No one robs a bank on pot.

On crack cocaine or meth, or those things mixed with alcholol, any upper mixed with alchohol, many robberies and violence takes place, but not on pot.

Wrong - This one sticks in my mind:

Wake up people this is not a good thing... Statistic are usually generated by someone with an agenda. I thought this was GLP?

This debate reminds me of border security - just build the wall already.

It literally doesn't matter what the anti-cannabis crowd says.

They are wrong.

Cannabis is on the path to legalization.

The haters can't stop it.

"Of the historical material indicating the Hebraic use of cannabis, the strongest and most profound piece of evidence was established in 1936 by Sula Benet (a.k.a. Sara Benetowa), a Polish etymologist from the Institute of Anthropological Sciences in Warsaw. In 1975 Benet stated, “In the original Hebrew text of the Old Testament there are references to hemp, both as incense, which was an integral part of religious celebration, and as an intoxicant.” Through comparative etymological study, Benet documented that in the Hebrew Scriptures and their Aramaic translation, the Targum Onculos, hemp is referred to as q’neh bosm (variously translated as kaneh bosem, keneh bosem, kaniebosm) and is also rendered in traditional Hebrew as kannabos or kannabus. The root kan in this construction means “reed” or “hemp,” while bosm means “aromatic.” This word appears in Exodus 30:23, Song of Songs 4:14, Isaiah 43:24, Jeremiah 6:20, and Ezekiel 27:19. Benet’s etymological research regarding the Hebrew terms q’eneh bosem and q’eneh was based on tracing the modern word cannabis back through history to show the similarities between the cognitive pronunciation of cannabis and q’eneh bosem,*9 as well as comparing the term to the names used for cannabis by contemporary kingdoms, such as the Assyrian and Babylonian term for the plant, qunubu. In fact, the term q’neh bosem is the Hebrew transliteration of an earlier Indo-European term for the plant, canna. This term left traces through the vernacular an, seen in various modern terms for c’an’nabis, such as the Indian bh’a’ng, the French ch’an’vre, the Dutch c’an’vas, and the German h’an’ f. This use of an Indo-European word in the Semetic language shows that the ritual use of cannabis came to the Hebrews from foreign sources and as an item of trade; it retained the core aspects of its original name. Indeed, in both the Jeremiah and Ezekiel references referred to by Benet, cannabis is identified as coming from a foreign land." ~ The Pot Book (Julie Holland M.D.)

I'm a believer in Yeshua and I studied this out intensely. Also historically. And to be completely truthful, I was stunned at the absolute volume of evidence of the efficacy and NECESSITY for cannabis in the vast majority of humanity's regular routine.

It is very sad that people have had their opinions formed by reefer madness and comedy routines. A little cannabis is tremendously good for the body and mind and in a myriad of illnesses, absolutely curative.

Saying what YHVH created is bad, when He said it was good, is a poor position for a believer to hold. Genesis 1:29...Or did YHVH lie?

Eve, is that you? I think you are twisting a bit. Lets get our bibles out!

"And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb (including MJ?) bearing seed which is upon the face of the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; TO YOU IT SHALL BE FOR MEAT."

It does not say for you to get high as a kite... It mentions herb and you stoners think god is talking about MJ?

The light people the light please get on the path. Break those chains the devil has put upon you! Live up to your full potential! I am just asking you to consider there is a better way. Jesus is salvation. He will free you from these burdens.

Eze_47:12  And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.

And read the Book of Enoch.

Your moral compass is off by 180 degrees. I urge you to spend more time reading the bible and less time smoking dope.

That's your problem. You're assuming people want to get high. There are countless people out there that want it for it's medicinal benefits. They don't want to get high but some THC is needed for it to work properly. And yes, others want to get high but no one has died from an OD. Prescription drugs kill over 100K a year for all types of various reasons.

Point is, you can't refute what's being stated by Ezra. It's there in black and white. You want to turn it around and make the worst out of it.

When God created everything, He said it was good. Are you really that far in denial to call Him a liar. If so, I would say you're pushing an agenda. Most people are not going to listen to you anyways here on the GLP forums. You know why? They've done their research. You're going to be arguing with hundreds of users on a daily basis and you will get nowhere because you will not be able to change their minds.

If you haven't read the books of Enoch, Jasper, Adam & Eve, and countless others, you're way behind. In fact, Enoch was to have written hundreds of books but we got less than a handful. Personally, I think the Vatican has many others locked away. He was instructed on how to make medicines to treat or cure people. What do you think he used? Wood, Fabric, Dirt, or perhaps plants.

In other news, states with relaxed laws on cannabis report an uptick in drive-by pillow-fights.
