I already agreed to the new usage and waived the automatic refund, myself. This is happening exactly as it was initially promised when the campaign started - automatic refund if not accepted by the government, unless we chose to participate in an alternative plan.

I said in the beginning that the campaign was a scam. I looked into it and seen that him and his "wife" had pulled off other scams. No one wanted to listen "they were all like wall wall wall, trump trump trump, USA USA USA!".
Had it been anything else you all would have investigated it to the point of calling him a fake alien or whatever. But because he's a Trump supporter he gets a pass.

Kolfage claimed in now-deleted Facebook posts that he was working with Walter Reed, Brooke Army Medical Center and Landstuhl Regional Medical Center to turn over the donated money.

“We do not have a record of Mr. Kolfage visiting Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in any official capacity after 2012,” Gia Oney, chief of public affairs at Landstuhl, told the online outlet. “We have no record of a donation made in his name to Landstuhl Regional Medical Center.”

Lindsay Lowery, an employee at one of Kolfage's largest conservative news websites in 2017, told the outlet that her former boss appeared to be aiming to boost his public persona.

“After I started challenging some of his business decisions that I felt were reckless for the company and for my career, the real Brian emerged,” Lowery said. “Everything is only about his ‘war hero’ persona and money. If there’s a perceived slight on his part, he viciously attacks people ... and, in my case, tries to destroy their life and livelihood.”

Hmmm. I'm on the fence now (pun intended) whether I should ask for my money back or not. I hate it when I contribute to something and then there's a substantial pivot in plans.

The real question is, why hasn't anyone started a gofundme campaign going for abolishing the IRS? Or, at the very least, completely redoing our tax system so that it's fair and no longer unrelenting.
