Crazy that's where I am from.

Surprising too because Asheville is a bastion of liberalism.

One of the main reasons I got the hell out of there, that and cost of living. Sad too because I grew up there and still loved it geographically speaking.

Yeah I lived there from the age of 3 and moved away when I was about 28 about 3 years ago.

I would never go downtown, I work at Rezaz in Biltmore village so I had to deal with that traffic but you could hop on the interstate from that location. But screw Patton avenue is sucks ass.

It just seemed like each passing year brought more and more douchebags that were not the free thinkers the claimed to be and the replaced the actual weird fuckers with breweries and art galleries.

I swear Asheville has the highest number of art galleries and breweries per capata.

And then the people around the area are like I love visiting Asheville is so active. I am like I guess if you like bar hopping that honestly about it.

I mean the blue ridge parkway is nice but the Appalachian mountain range is huge.

Now this news made me raise my eyebrows thinking that these 2 chaps definitely do not represent what Asheville has become lately, filled w/ folks who have no respect of nature (liberal bastion). Maybe these fellows are 3rd or 4th generation mountain folks.

Yeah, the Vanderbilts house up there. Anyone who happened to catch some of the pics being posted on different forums that feature some really disturbing 'art' and then the pool at the house will recognize the background used on that nasty art. Funny how folks pay good $$ to go see this historic house and yet have no friggin' clue about the dark history behind it.

Yeah, there is a healthy segment of wiccans up there. From what I hear most of those are just poor lost souls following some co-opted BS form of they believe to be wiccan. And then there are the ass-hats who've moved their loved ones to our mountains into lock-down properties because of whatever comes first - angry masses w/ torches-n-pitchforks or an ELE (extinction level event).

And to the person contemplating sending a brick to our elected ass-hats Congressional offices....SWEET!!! Angry fans did something similar to the network yrs ago when they canceled popular tv show called Jericho. They started sending nuts, campaign got huge and got coverage.
And thought struggles against the results, trying to avoid those unpleasant results while keeping on with that way of thinking. That is what I call 'sustained incoherence.' ...David Bohm
