I see it a different way. No way Trump would let him have this seat unless DJT knew everything about him. My guess is he is one of the 70+,000 indictments, and Trump has a promise of a couple specific decisions, or course of action, that will keep Barr from the gallows, or he knows he is a crony, and is setting a tarp. Either way, Prez knows how this will play out.
