I think our society has adorned MLK with saint hood and never questioned it.
I'm personally a bit ambivalent, but I appreciate you bringing a counter argument to the table, and that's why I gave this thread 5 stars.
He wasn't as great of a man as portrayed. His ideas weren't as utopian as portrayed. We should probably celebrate this day as "appreciate others day" instead, but it is what it is.
FWIW, to this day, no one has been able to refute what Muhammed Ali said (about blue birds with blue birds, black birds with black birds, etc)
