It looks amazing Rev! I am so jealous. I am back in Michigan for a year and then I will split my time between Puerto Rico in the winter and summers in Michigan

Cabo is attractive because it is a tourist magnet. Drive up the peninsula, inland, and there's trash everywhere.

We are in mazatlan
Friday we are driving to
Puerto Vallarta

Never been to cabo

Lots of old people here.
It's beautiful.

We stopped for a beer around noon
and there was Live entertainment.
One man band, he was awesome.

After he introduced himself and said he was on
American idol season 13
He was cut right away, sadly.
He will be trying out for the Voice
this up coming season

Amazing day.

I lived on North Shore Oahu for a couple years. Love it. Miss it.

I live in So Cal now and visit Baja to surf all the time. Absolutely love it down there and hope to buy a house on the beach down there one day.

Good food, surf, empty beaches.

Re: Moving TO Mexico, Ask Me A Question
Lots of real serious shit going on in Mexico, Rev...

Hope your daughter is doing okay, I never heard....

Used to be a Great Place for vacation, and Monterey, Manzanilla, Puerto Vallarta, Ixtapa, Zihuat, Acapulco were not Battle Zones for the cartels.

News this week about cartel action in Cancun. Can Cozumel be far behind? Isla Mujeres? Used to visit Matamoros and up Eagle Pass way's bordertown. Easy going days. Not in the past 8yrs or so...

Acapulco was Jet Set province #1... Now they have regular murders. Almost moved to Mexico City in the 80s. Loved it. La Zona Rosa... But the 85 earthquake happened... Buildings very poorly constructed so many collapsed...

Driving from Zihuat up towards Lazaro Cardenes, there was hammer and sickle Communist grafitti along the highway. Drug gangs abound now. Military checkpoints with 50cal machinegun emplacement and submachinegun carrying soldiers and dogs that check your car. That was 35yrs ago... Now? Crikey...

40 million, mostly poor in Mexico City these days?

Too bad you didn't go there 50yrs ago...

Theres' really no place to go these days...

Daughter not doing well. Turns out she has serious psychiatric issues on top of the brain damage. She’s currently institutionalized but if and when she does find healing, she can’t stay in Hawaii so I need to make a home elsewhere.

And no worries! Cabo is MUCH safer than the places you mentioned.

Do you do spiritual type work - energy healing, psychic reading or channeling? what will you do for work? I do wish I could consider Mexico as an option but it just looks far too dangerous and it seems to be spreading.

How do you post a pic?

OP...before you move...check out the Facebook page..

Rosarito Uncensured.

It will give your eyes open about the murders in the baja.

I myself, immigrated to Mexico 13 years ago. I live in the center away from all the crime.

Having done the corrupt tourist locations circuit for quite a few years, I have to ask, is it safe or is the tourism industry/gov fixing the figures?

I went to one of the "safest countries" with the "lowest murder rates" and saw someone killed within an arm's reach from me in the first month. It never made it into the statistics. The country was entirely dependent on tourism.

It is beautiful here.
All safe
Maybe if you ventured into the
barrios you could be killed.

I went to zihwa many times
Awesome place.
That place is getting very dangerous
So I haven't been back there in several years

We are in Sinaloa
Not seeing any cartel here.
But they may hide in plain site.

Anyway, bought some kick ass weed in San Carlos.
Best I've smoked in a long time.
Better than Canada or the dispensers
