I even got the chance to walk through the JFK/MLK Memorial in Indianapolis, yesterday.
By the Grace of God, I just happened to be walking through, twice as a matter of fact, before I realized what it was I was walking through.
That's when I decided to ask some random guy about the park, and wouldn't you know it, that same guy was on the news, commemorating the Movement, at that time and the significance of that particular park.
As it turns OUT (this gets even better, i promise!), JFK was in that park the day Re. Dr. Martin Luther King was assassinated, at that moment gone but never to be forgotten, of course.
JFK was having a rally that night, part of his campaign for Presidential Candidacy.
For those of you who aren't up on their history: Both MLK
and JFK were both pro-Civil-rights for all of Mankind, for this Beautiful Country of ours, the U.S.A.
At any rate, as we all know (and should), they paid a price, a great price, in fact, one we all get to enjoy the benefits, currently.
God Bless America, and shall we start off this New Year, 2019 with patience and tolerance for each other?
I think it's an idea worth noting, that's what our Forefathers would want us to do, me thinks.
The enemy would like to tear us down, as always, there's even a solution for that as well.
