Why...I make my killer pepperoni spaghetti sauce ofcourse With thyme & basil from my garden, raw garlic, chopped garlic, garlic salt, and garlic powder.

Should be done by tomorrow evening...just in time for Christmas eve.

As the plan-demic lock downs increase and the BS election cause even more unknowns, I think the next several months are going to be hard for everyone!

The restrictions and mandates have increased, soon no business will be open at all as they are unsafe! The media and unions are pushing for this! As no where is safe from the cold/flu virus...
In Los Angeles we now have National Guards Men a few miles from us.
Protests against lock downs are not allowed and are crushed first by closing any public park or land to any protest. Then by force.

Safety as the city's county's and state have released tens of thousands of prisoners.
Homeless encampments everywhere!
Crime has risen so much that there are thousands of unanswered calls.
Our new DA will not charge most, at all.

I am stuck here for now close to retirements, I have a bugout plan (it is getting close). My house here is paid for and all taxes and insurance are paid.
Preps stacked to the rafters. Tomatoes are still out.

The wife had a positive test 3 wks ago still a little sick but not dyeing or dead! A few days later I got sick, basically a cold with a come and go fever for a few days, fine now! I am 60ish with asthma and COPD and a chain smoker!

I found a much better way!

I go out and snip the seed before it is seed...it looks like a tightly packed green flower so I cut it along with 2 basil leaves and put it in a ziplock bag & into the freezer.

It's the sweetest most powerful basil you'll ever use!!! I've had to learn to use less of it in my spaghetti sauce it's so powerful.

However, I ended up with a blight on my basil plants and they died...I'm not sure if that had something to do with it...but even if it did...it was worth it!

I went to the bank today & got some cash...called in a perscrip & filled the tank in the truck. I think I'll make a grocery run tomorrow even though I don't need to.

Got groceries yesterday. Freezer is pretty full as is the pantry. Vehicles have fuel and I have some more stored.

I'd get cash out of the bank, but I don't have any in there LOL

Don't know what to expect here where I am. True South however if bad times do come here, can say locked and loaded and ready for bear.

Got a load of supplies to rebuild our fence being delivered tomorrow and 2 Baofengs showed up today.
Pretty well set for now with food and water and I too am now broke.

I'm lucky to after the beating my wallet took last month. New front shocks & springs on my truck...tree roots plugged up my main drain & other costly expenses.

Hello, dear ones. So sorry not to have been present in almost two months. Hospital five days and weeks upon weeks in a skilled nursing facility regaining strength and ability. Rough time. Returned home yesterday.

Started with a UTI unlike any symptoms I've ever had, then went to sepsis. Many falls. After the last fall the fire dept. insisted on taking me to the hospital and it's good they did, or I would have died without ever understanding I was sick!

Fortunately everything here is as I left it, or unfortunately, as the case may be. Lots of cleaning needed, as I had been sick for some time. Hiring a new helper which means exposing many of my preps which I hate, but the current political climate and covid conditions will help explain it innocently, hope.

So good to see all the wonderful posts = bless you all for keeping on keeping on, both at home and here.

Doing my best to heal - have to pick up another round of antibiotics this morning, still trying to establish and treat the root cause of the horrible illness. Would like to stay home this time. Don't like the results of where my dog was fostered - she has lost her puppy joyousness. Don't know what they did. She was glad to be home, ran over, jumped in my lap and kissed me, but soon went away looking for her weewee pad and water. Hope she forgets that place soon. I'm very grateful they kept her safe for me, but not sure they treated her as I would have wished.

By the way, she is six years old, not a puppy, but acted as a puppy as she had never been hit nor yelled at. Cannot say for sure that is the fact today!

Long way of saying yes, doing the best I can to get better - medications, rest, trying to find help for at least a couple days but people in this kind of work are not the smartest nor the most reliable. Trying again today.

Not worrying a lot about this place - just hitting the headlines and coming here with all the dear friends. Stopped worrying as soon as you indicated you had upgraded me - what an amazing kindness to do! Hope I have enough karma for next month. Meanwhile, may the Lord bless you and return your gift ten-fold.

People, I do not have a good feeling about the coming weeks and months.

We are reasonably prepared here, but not as much as I would prefer. Lack of $$$ is a limiting factor. I often wonder how our ancestors did so much with so little. God knows, I have tried.

Water, food, shelter. Those are the basics.

Same here. Many people that I know are feeling that urge to prep for whatever it is that is coming.

I just keep slowly adding things as I can afford them, but I never feel prepared enough. Other than that, I am trusting God that He will see me through.

Whichever way things go this week, I agree - something wicked this way cometh. It's time to stay home, stay in, find ways to maximize the preps we succeeded in accumulating and to stop worrying about what we didn't get and now cannot get. Let's be thankful for all the provisions we have, and look around more carefully - without doubt we have more than we realize.

We need to be extremely cautious in all our movements - watch out the windows before going out, keep a sharp lookout at all times, indoors and out. Listen to whatever communication set-up you have, be aware of everything.

Pray pray pray. If you have not yet trusted God, do remember there are no atheists in foxholes.

Many have the same feeling as you, Crunch, even many youtubers. It's time to do all the things we planned to do - and for goodness sakes investigate and start your Kratky hydroponics!
