[Cyberpunk, oddly just now I am listening to a different perspective on the Oroville dam - you might want to hear this. [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] ]

It's pretty obvious that infrastructure is a likely target in the next round. As I noted in another reply, the opposing forces have had time to build a number of operatives that are recovered and, likely, immune to Covid-19. I'm listening to the show right now as I am doing house things while waiting for lunch.

Dams are pretty hard targets but Oroville is already compromised. It could become the target of an infrastructure campaign. Especially after seeing the damage that the dam failures here in Michigan caused. Other targets might be roads, railways, electric lines and substations, gas lines and water supplies.

Two things I have not yet been able to get and need: an old-fashioned orange juice squeezer - you know the type I mean - and a couple more boxes freedom seeds. Found one store locally that has a good brand of my odd size always in stock, so I picked up a box every month or two. Very unexpectedly in this quiet little town, in a store not at all a shop of that type, in the smallest section of this store, suddenly there is a constant run on freedom seeds. I didn't ask about the shiny things, long or short, but didn't see as many on display as usual. She said some weeks they receive no freedom seeds at all, and other weeks only a few, or only a few sizes, etc. I am surprised as I expected to be able to go on purchasing there. Thus I have made an unfortunate calculation and will have to call every Thursday to see if the truck is carrying what I need. Oh - and now they have a sign up limiting purchase to only two of any one caliber.

I've seen the same thing here. Limited to one box at one store of the size that I was looking for (for my scatter planter - a very common model), other stores are completely empty. Really crazy.

We've got antique malls here that I'll wander into once in a while. They should be reopening in a week or so, I might go through and see if there is anything that will further my preps. Very often the most useful things are priced very reasonably. Also, there is a community wide yard sale that was just announced! So I have hope that I can get some deals before the 'Phase 3' gets underway.
