Birch tree bark has a similar effect as ibuprofen. I put a pinch in hot water and have tea. Migraine gone....

My trees appear to be 'American Sycamore', judging by the leaves and seed pods. There are some uses identified for the 'inner bark', but it is the 'outer bark' I was curious about. The trees shed lots of it yearly. Useful as kindling, maybe.
