Love this!!! I used to walk with a cane always, and it was considered sexy.

I wouldn't care what people thought of me using a walking stick, and if they in fact saw me walking, they would quickly grasp why I needed it.

The article you linked has even more uses for the stick than I had considered, and I like it very much. It is great for safer walking, indeed - hang your belongings in a neckerchief or a burlap bag on the crook of it and save on your hands.
