Bump for folks that are getting Stimulus deposits....

Augason Farms #10 cans

Powered Butter

Powdered Eggs

Powdered Cheese

Banana chips

Freezer dried strawberries

I know not everyone is an Amazon fan.... but some of us don’t have other options....

Point is these all have 10 year shelf lives and will get you through the rebuilding time, if or when it happens to you.... I hope it never does....

But inflation ain’t going to help either.

Protein will become very expensive as grain prices go up. This is very high quality meat:

If you belong to Costco, they still sometimes have the Kirkland brand roast beef which is a handy size and has usually seemed like a reasonable price. Their canned chicken is pretty good, too. Walmart also has canned beef and canned chicken at good prices.

If you know how to home can, and are able to find enough jars and lids, buy beef roast on sale and ask the butcher to cut into stew size pieces, and can some up.

Eggs bought on sale can be kept frozen raw if you scramble them first. I scramble 6 at a time, put in a zip lock baggie with all the air squished out, and lay flat in the freezer.
