Well, hope I'm WORRIED for nothing, Storm...

My nextdoor apartment neighbor (we live about 20 feet
away from each other door-to-door) was the fellow I reported
about 2 weeks ago as a "surgeon's assistant" at our local
MAIN HOSPITAL (a big one for Montana.) He is doing clinicals
right now for his license and is a dedicated hard-working
young guy in his early 30's.

My spouse and he had a ciggy on the back balcony about
a week ago and he asked about "Hey...are they seeing any
cases of the "novel corona virus" in our hospital yet?"

He acted totally surprised and asked: "WHAT virus?"

He proceeded to explain that he--and most everyone he works with
have NOT BEEN TOLD about the virus at all...they are not
...I REPEAT NOT TESTING FOR THE VIRUS...many of the doctors
are not even on the "look-out" for it!

He and his room mate went to Paris, France on vacation about
10 days ago (before my spouse talked with him)...and now
he is REALLY SICK.



Both hubby and I have "scratchy throats" and the "dry cough"
they talk about--and with his being a RECENT international
airline traveler as well as a HOSPITAL EMPLOYEE (working
in active surgery rooms)...I'm just wondering....Man...
IS THIS THE CORONA VIRUS?

I'll keep you posted on what shakes out up here...right now
we are having major winter storms so nobody is going out
much--but I talked to his room mate this evening where he
works and he's pretty worried about him.

I'm a little stressed...
