It won't be a displacement. It will be a "pile" bursting through the crust.
I doubt it will happen in our lifetime.

This will cause large volcanic activity, increased moisture in the atmosphere, etc. It will last for many years causing various levels of water displacement and moisture content in the atmosphere. I can find it later, but just have too much going on today
