Anti podal?

could be, but I think that the north pole quake would be more toward Iceland if it was a true antipodal quake, these seem to follow what Ben Davidson from SO, says where the new North pole will be located, in effect they could be the "birth pains" as the poles merge in the Indian Ocean, the magma down deep must be stressing the crust and upper mantel.

Thanks for the response! I agree. The earth will shift. Im not sure if the crust slips this cycle or next?

I have said earlier in this thread that I think it could happen at the peak of Solar Cycle 25, which puts it in the next 5 years.

But understand that I don't believe we will have a total crustal shift, There is evidence that Greenland Shifted and drifted to it's existing location while other continents were stable.

Think of Ice on a pond, something big hits and breaks the Ice, pieces float around driven by the wind and pile up on each other, then the pond re-freezes.

There are some areas of that pond that were not affected at all, and some that changed greatly, I believe that a solar super flare, or a micro nova could have the same effect on the earths crust, without tearing the whole crust apart, "A Partial Crustal Shift".
