Attorney General says Sackler Family 'Caused Much of the Opioid Epidemic'. It Turned Them Into One of the 20 Richest Families in the U.S.

Purdue, the big drug distribution companies, and the Sackler Family are under the gun in the same way tobacco companies were 25 years ago ... and they are ALL going to be paying BIG DOLLARS before it is all over with.

The attorney leading the assault on Purdue and the drug distribution companies (but has not yet sued the Sackler family itself) is the same attorney who STARTED the attack on the tobacco companies with only himself in the lead and two other attorneys assisting him (and he won that WAR - with the tobacco companies paying literally in the hundreds of billions of dollars so far).

If you own stock in any drug distribution company ... time to SELL (should have sold a year ago) before they end up like the big building materials companies that ALL went bankrupt over asbestos, a product that had been used in building products for over 100 years.

It was during the discovery process for the lawsuits against Purdue and the big drug distribution companies by the Plaintiff's attorneys that the emails and memos from Sackler Family members came to light, which are the items being discussed by the Mass. Attorney General now. While political types such as Attorney Generals tend to have little spine when it comes to tackling well connected and rich families the Plaintiff's attorneys, on the civil side, don't have the same mindset - they can become Rottweilers in a frenzy when they sniff money to be had with a weak point in the other's defenses. I am sure they will be naming Sackler Family members in some of the new lawsuits they will be filing.

I would not be surprised to see some of the Sackler Family members actually INDICTED because of the content of the emails ... but no matter what THEIR FORTUNE is going to be under attack by the Plaintiff's Attorneys.

something I have noticed for years as an aside to this story is that the tribe are trying to take over every company in the world and one method is like this: attack them to discredit owners then take it over.

I don't know if this is the case or not here and it does not detract from the potential criminal activity but one criminal is no different from another from a differing blood line either.

I don't agree with suing the drug maker, they can make what they want, you as an individual have to be in control of your own life. That's like saying the gun maker is responsible if you go out and shoot someone with a gun they made...ridiculous at best!

When my hubs had really high triglycerides the pill pushing dr doubled his dosage of trilipix, when my hubs hair started to fall out, he began spontaneously bruising and bleeding and became 1 angry SOB...when I heard him screaming at one of his clients in his office, I began researching, took matters into my own hands and began to ween him off (without anyone knowing, I emptied the caps) after 2 weeks when he stabilized I told him what was going on. When I told the pill pusher he recommended we see a specialist. I could have just gone along with the dr, I could have let the pills kill the hubs or cause a divorce....BUT you have to be proactive in your own care and the care of people you love. If someone is hooked on something that is on them, not the manufacturer. They make it, you don't have to take it
