I am not married. I was tired of the long weeks. It was killing me in IT. $11 an hour wasnt worth the drive.

I just quit my $11 an hour job, of which I worked my ass off at.

I made nearly $160K a year as an IT professional, until last June. I got tired of the Indians that we were outsourced to, had to train, and messed shit up that I had to fix all the time. I got tired of the 1220 hour work weeks, on salary.

I am 55. I am female. After I 'sorta retired' I decided to get another job, brain dead job. I got hired for $11 an hour. I have been working this job for nearly two months.

The job is ridiculous...as an ex IT professional, in charge of the biggest reporting implementations in the WORLD until recently, some idiot comes to me and tries to explain to me how to restart my computer. Really. This is not an exaggeration.

I was treated like an $11 an hour employee..I get it...I hung.

I had to tell my supervisors when I went on break. Yea, guess they want to know, next, when I go pee!

I had enough. $11 an hour barely pays my taxes and gas. I used to make $11 an hour in the late 80's with no degree, no experience, and not even a GED or high school diploma.
