Yeah, there's no way in hell this is true. These kind of events are always false flags, and as others have said, no Trump supporter is going to commit a racist, homophobic attack like this. The metaphorical book would be thrown at them in the court of public opinion as well as in an actual court. As many cameras as there are in Chicago, whoever did this is going to be caught, and if it was MAGA guys, they would literally be raped to death in the Illinois penitentiary. Not exactly something a white racist homophobe looks forward to.

This will follow the typical MSM trajectory. Get it out there as quickly as possible without verifying anything, and then, when the truth comes out ignore it or bury it so deep no one will have ever absorbed anything but the initial narrative of modern-day Klansmen roaming the streets of Chicago looking for a gay black guy to lynch.
