Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 72063207 United Kingdom 01/30/2019 09:48 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | PEA PRODUCTION AND ACTIVATION L-phenylalanine is a precursor for PEA. Vitamin B6 is the key nutrient in the production of the beneficial biogenic dopamine and PEA. Vitamin B6 in the form of pyridoxine hydrochloride is biologically inactive. Once B6 enters a cell, enzymatic transfer of the g-phosphoryl group from ATP forms the coenzyme pyridoxal 5’-phosphat, PLP. This conversion to the active form requires magnesium and vitamin B2. PLP is a prostetic group for many enzymeS that catalyze a vareity of reactions involving amino acids. PLP is tightly bound to to the enzyme by many weak noncovalent interactions. [link to xray.bmc.uu.se] (snip <50%) WHAT AFFECTS LOVE? As difficult as love is to define, its first flickers apparently begin in the prefrontal cortex, the section of your brain that enables you to anticipate the joy of being with a particul person, even one you ever met. If it´s powerful enough, this so called memory of the future engages the ancestral “fight and flight” response of the lower brain, which is responsible for such involuntary functions as stammering, tripping, drooling and laughing too loudly at someone else´s joke. Endorphines fuel the chemical cocktail. Similar in structure to morphine, endorphines are perhaps best known for creating a blissful sense of calm in long distance runners. They leave lovers feeling similary tranquil, but not in the early going. During the initial stages of attraction, endorphines serve as a catalyst by triggering special cells in the midbrain to produce dopamine and PEA, powerful natural amphetamines. In the boot camp of romance, dopamine and PEA are the drill sergeant. They barks at the brain to select a plan of action, any plan. (snip <50%) SIMILARITY BETWEEN PEA AND AMPHETAMINE: Picture of Amphetamine Picture of Phenylethylamine Amfetamine Phenylethylamine As we can see PEA and amphetamine are very similar to each other. Some of the effects of amphetamine is increased energy, enhanced awakeness, less appetite, increased breathe and heart rate. Do you recognize this? It seems to be the same effects as that of PEA when we fall in love. An overcosumption of amphetamine and overproduktion of PEA leads to paranoia. Does PEA affect other animals? It's recently been discovered that carnivorous animals such as lions and tigers have much higher levels of PEA than herbivores, sometimes 3,000 times as much. American scientists first isolated it from the urine of bobcats (photo, left), which is used by American gardeners to scare off rodents and rabbits. They found that it activates one of the mouse's trace amine-associated receptors (TAAR4), making the mice (and rats) take avoiding action by triggering their aversion circuits. Rodents avoided lion's urine, but not when the phenylethylamine had been removed from it. It may well be that the phenylethylamine levels in carnivores are a product of breakdown of meat proteins, which would be a source of phenylalanine. And it is also possible that Jerry Mouse lacks the important TAAR4 gene. [link to www.chm.bris.ac.uk] snip <50% |

However my biochemist friend warns me that external introduction of transmitters lead to a reduction in the body's own production ---> comedowns etc so need to boost it naturally... and that aint gonna happen without B vits need to research MAO Inhibitor Activity [link to thesunlightexperiment.com (secure)] Why We Should Be Interested in Natural MAO Inhibitors MAO stands for monoamine oxidase. It's an enzyme that breaks down certain neurotransmitters in the brain like dopamine, serotonin, and dimethyltryptamine. All of which are crucial to brain function in various ways. There are actually 2 types of MAO in the body, and although similar, have different preferences for the monoamines they break down (deaminate). MAO-A, and MAO-B. Inhibiting this enzyme slow the breakdown of neurotransmitters, allowing their numbers to increase. Looks like Licorice Root (Glycyrrhiza Glabra) is the most palatable, although 5. Turmeric (Curcuma Longa) is high too! so date night looks like: - Beefy broth/marmite with lashings of basil or a curry - Licorice sweets - followed by chocolate for good measure |

Aspartame is metabolized to phenylalanine. 2. Phenylalanine is metabolized to phenylethylamine inducing competitive inhibition of 4.1.1.28 leading to decreased synthesis of serotonin, dopamine, and histamine. 3. Increases in phenylethylamine leads to excretion and associated depletion of serotonin and dopamine (catecholamine depletion). 4. As always, with depletion of catecholamines epinephrine (adrenaline) synthesis is the first to suffer dysfunction and suffers the most. Epinephrine and histamine share an agonist-antagonist interaction. With both histamine and epinephrine synthesis being compromised the problems grow." [link to weeksmd.com] As you think. |

Whatever that shit was it damn nearly killed me. 13 weeks i had that fucking shit go through me. Took me from 17.5 stone to 12.5 stone in 12 weaks. Back up to 14.3 stone now but still listless and to be honest no mo-jo for months and months. Would and increase of PEA affect or be affected by the Hemp powder ?
