Then that's on you OP, but let me ask you some questions if I may? Unfortunately, as much as I would like to be Prolife, to many questions would nag at my conscience and challenge my ego, the same way buying the lies of 9/11 or believing what they say on CNN daily, would cripple my soul.

WHO are the majority of people who are getting abortions?

WHAT are the conditions of their life that they would consider having one and the kind of person they are, even capable of raising a child, due to their life circumstances at that moment?

WHERE are the men in these women's lives, you know, the ones they are married to and who supports them, or makes it possible for them to raise a child?

WHEN is this topic and issue going to finally end being argued over, as their are too many factors, across a broad spectrum and circumstances, which may or may not justify abortion (the same as how murder is illegal in society, but under the guise and lies of war, it's permissible, even praised)?

WHY does it matter if it's legal or not and if women can get a procedure done in a medical procedure and environment where she has a better chance of surviving the procedure is like asking why people go to the hospital or doctor for broken bones to be set or dentist to have teeth repaired instead of doing it themselves like centuries ago... would you?

WHICH demographic and socioeconomic class do a majority of them fall into?

and finally...

HOW are many of the women (and girls) who are likely going to raise a baby, and be a good mother, if abortion is even a serious consideration and viable option for them to even consider?

These are just a handful of basic questions and I have many more to fit each situation which applies therof, including...

ARE you, OP, willing to open your home, and orphanage or to help raise all of these unwanted births, if they were to outlaw abortion as a result?

I can easily answer all of these questions, with logical and heartfelt answers (that is, compassion towards those who are in particular situations that bring them to abortion, the same way some who are in pain choose suucide)... can you?

I've read COUNTLESS articles on the topic, discussions and debates, videos arguing both sides. People who say the Earth is becoming overpopulated, others saying specific ethnicities are dying out, still others calling for population control measures... so which is it?

Is abortion political? Of course it is. Is it ethical? Depends on whose metric and situation. Is it profitable? Heh, like it would be anything but. Is it going to ever end? Simple answer, no... never, even if made illegal as that never stopped anyone.

So argue with and convince yourself, and others, about why YOU choose to be pro life if you might, but unless you are willing to take on the personal responsibility of having a hand in raising that child, from birth to 18 let's say, then how do you then dare to dictate and mandate that girl/woman take that baby to full term? Don't be a hypocrite and don't hide behind "God" as an answer.

GOD and Jesus... the reason people fear doing bad things the most, 2nd to the law and a chance of true consequences and getting caught, lol. God and Jesus are like a long term payment plan for sin, with "debt forgiveness" and claiming "moral bankruptcy" to get off the hook and out of debt as a result by simply confessing those sins instead. The devil however, is like free credit, loans and credit cards, where you can buy now, party hard and pay later... with very harsh terms, consequences and severe interest, lol.

Seriously though, to hide behind God as the moral reason here, then you'd have to deconstruct life itself, at present, the world over, and know that everyone is complicit, a hypocrite, a sinner and responsible (all of us), no matter how much we try to remove ourselves, keep to ourselves or be responsible for just ourselves, we are still entangled in each others' decisions to continue to sin in some fashion.

In other words, there is no easy answer OP, no black and white and wrong or right on this topic... sorry to say. It's not that I don't agree with you, or accept your right to believe as you do, I'm just saying there are reasons why people have abortions, each one different in their own reason as to why they do so.
