Big dogs are the best.

Some little breeds are tenacious tough little guys also, like terriers.

I've had my big dog protect house and home many times in the past, Just the sight and loud bark alone is enough to scare away 95% of people with bad intentions.

Dogs sense intentions, IMO especially bully breeds are great at this.

I always had smaller dogs. They were all rescues, good dogs.

My daughter has a dalmatian. She's not huge, but I consider her big. She's like another person sitting on the couch!

Yeah i'd consider dalmatians big, anything over 50-60 pounds is imo.

I love little dogs just as much.

I have a boxer and a boston terrier, boston terriers are tenacious as hell, bred to hunt rodents in garment factories, my guy is like a little shark man he once killed like 3-4 chickens in my cousins chicken coop all in one go, before i rescued him from her lol.

That is true. I had a dog that was part terrier, part weiner. He used to chase away the german shepherd from next door whenever he got loose. His bark sounded like it came up from a big dog.

I will get a big dog if I ever get a place big enough.

Also just to be clear, Once i rescued him and he met my boxer, He was so use to dominating everything, humans, big dogs, little dogs, chickens lol, that he was in shock when my boxer quickly handled him, she trained him for me pretty quickly lol, Now he obeys her more than me little ass.

I have 1 chihuahua and 2 rescue chihuahua mixes that are a little bigger. About 36 pounds total weight of doggage.

They are all smart, and the purebred, a girl is sweet and cute but can be fierce. She runs the place.
