Message Subject Jesus told the evil doer "You will be with me in paradise". What did he mean, was the man going to heaven as if death is a promotion?

the word paradise does have a few meanings beside Heaven. a quick google search will list them, once you apply the right meaning it wont matter about the comma

The comma matters because it, as far as reading the passage is concerned, determines when the thief will be in paradise.

When the thief is in paradise where will that be?
