They didn't give EVERYONE a basic income.

Give EVERYONE a basic income... Including Bill Gates..Warren Buffett. Etc... Then people will have an incentive to earn MORE money while always collecting the basic income.

Of course some will not work anyway.. Some. But most people have passions and dreams and will not nicer things.

Giving motivate people a security net and extra capital that's always there will work.

Plus you solve homelessness and people bitching about inequality. It would be 100% motivation issue.

You have to give 100% of the people a basic income or it will fail.

They did it wrong. You have to give EVERYBODY even rich and wealthy a basic income or it fails.

It's a safety net and capital for motivated people. Some will not work anyway. Society has that already. Immigration control is ESSENTIAL. People will work to have nicer things and follow their passions. You have to ALWAYS give the basic income no matter how much they earn.

I get free $$$$ per month. Gee, i think I will go scrub some toilets and do some cleaning up. Oh wait the robots will do it for me. I don't even have to wipe my own bum anymore. The experiment succeeded and showed that unemployment did not RISE.

Critics say it would make people stop working. It did not. Basic income is the future when robots will make most of the work.

What do you think people will live of if robots does 80-90% of the work? Everything from factories to McDonald's will be self service and robots.

Homeless people will spend their allowance on booze and dope and some groups will say they need more because of past injustices such as slavery. If you were employed and understood you were getting a TEMPORARY infusion of cash, would you quit your job? I wouldn’t.

Likewise if you were broke and unemployed already.

All this experiment showed is that people will take temporary free money from some idealist marxist moron and keep trucking on as is until it stopped.

I thought it was to make the unemployed less depressed by having some money so they could go out more often an that keeps some businesses operating that would close down due to lack of customers.
