My first car was an 80's Chevy, and I had my mechanic wipe the undercarriage with used motor oil.... Helped I think. Very little rust under there.

Just curious, how is the dust getting in to your car in a meaningful amount? Do you drive with the windows down a lot? This is a serious question, I am not being facetious.

It or something like it is being sprayed by way of helicopter in western KY and east MO. And no, it's not soybean or corn crop spraying. No one here seems to know who, why or what they are spraying onto mostly residential neighborhoods. Any info would be nice

Ideal conditions for bacteria thriving under salty conditions
