I always keep my ugg boots and shoes right by my bed. I love those sheepskin boots and shoes with good tread and hard rubber soles. Are you in Bluffdale or Salt Lake? Do some research on earthquake safety, there is a lot of information online. I live about a block off the Wasatch faultline. There are a bunch of faultlines running through Utah. Glad it wasn't bigger and that you are okay OP. |

Sounded like a train, the sound of the grinding building was scary too. |

That way, if your house falls, you may be left in the safe triangle formed when debris falls. There is no really safe spot, though. More deplorable all the time. |
