From what I’ve gathered from reading various threads about this issue on GLP is that even if Trump tried to veto this bill it couldn’t be vetoed because of 2/3’s of the house and the senate already voted yes on this bill so therefore Trump could not veto it. Is that correct?
If you were Trump knowing this bill is full of “poison pills” and knowing he could not veto it but also knowing if you signed it that it would jump start the destruction of the country you love so much wouldn’t you at least try and warn the people about how atrocious this bill is?
Some would say he signed it cause his life, or his families lives, friends lives, etc.......were threatened. There’s no doubt there are some individuals that are thinking that, but you know what? I don’t care what threat was hanging over my head.
If the country I love is about to be destroyed by something I sign I sure as hell am going to speak out about it and let everyone know. I am a nobody, nothing, but I know there would be many others that would do the same.
Face it, there are no positives in this bill for your average American. It actually gives money to the people who are invading America. Do you agree with that? How could that possibly good for any American?
This isn’t about if you support Trump, still support Trump or anything along the lines of that.
This is about America. Our HOME and it’s being taken away from us right before our eyes.
There is not one reason these “poison pills” could not have been brought to the attention of the American people before the bill was signed.
A simple tweet could have alerted the American people about what was in this country destroying bill.
Any person with access to this bill could have alerted us to how bad it was, but not even one person did.
All of us could have been alerted but we weren’t.
