Wow, I feel for you. I really do. Your situation is why I never applied for management positions for more money. I was content with my money with less of this management/leadership nonsense.

Be excellent at my job and paid accordingly. No interest in "leadership" for more money. And to Opie's point, you're either a leader or you are not.
