The king had is on garrison protecting him while everyone else focused on the mission. Either way it goes, we should find a way to make them have skin in the game with their life if they are so quick to have others die for their cause. The way we do it now has a socialist feel to it. Everyone is paying for it while those calling for it pay nothing.

That is the only way it makes sense. It's easy to want the benefits of battle when you're allowed to force anyone else to fight it for you. Everything should be by the popular vote, and when it comes to action the voters should be responsible... While we're at it, all gov jobs should be volunteer. What exactly are they worshipping here? :deadsheep:
