Quoting: KokoLoco [link to www.politico.com (secure)] "The vote split mainly along party lines, 53-44. Democratic Sens. Bob Casey, Doug Jones and Joe Manchin crossed the aisle to vote for it and no Republicans broke ranks. Sixty votes were required for the bill to advance." The Senate is currently composed of 53 Republicans, 47 Dems, FYI... [link to www.nytimes.com (secure)] Last Edited by KokoLoco on 02/25/2019 08:19 PM |

User ID: 77392165 Canada 02/25/2019 08:49 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | That isn't the point. Three Republicans apparently approve of infanticide and it would be nice to find out who so we can remember come next election cycle. exactly, the Republican Party has a massive discipline problem due to its kneeling before elites that want Liberal policy at all costs. In a British parliamentary system you have party discipline or you are booted out of the party. I know the US system is different but you do not see people breaking party ranks very often with the democrats do you? There needs to be more discipline and the public has to ensure this happens. “the devil is a foe to the blood” Prof. Minor |
