I watched a clip about Indian drones the other day. Their drones seem very dated! Very weak 40hp engines on an old 80's looking design but the onboard tech looks current tbf. I guess the difference is the use as they are just using for recon etc and not delivery....

I remember watching a prog about the Finnish army in Afghan and they had hand launched model looking drones that were spotters and targeting for a wicked looking recoiless rifle system in which they threw the drone, flown by ipad, spotted and when press shoot the recoiless rifle/grenade launcher dropped a load exactly on the spot and all caught on cam - i was impressed by that tech as it was so gamey and almost unfair lol

Anyway, these pak drones don't seem to be up to much and if it is over then why they still flying them....!

PS - i just noticed the 20km part and the area, that is an interesting development imo!

LoC has been mostly peaceful for last six days with couple of ceasefire violations reported by India and Pakistan. Two Pakistani civilians and One Indian policeman were injured since my last report on 03/3/2019.

I would guess it's a nuclear deterent.

They "might" have a nuclear missile on any of their navy ships so if india launches a nuke...they had better take out every ship as well (which would be impossible) or pakistan can still strike.
