An explosion took place in a Hyundai Santro car when it hit one of the vehicles in a CRPF convoy at Banihal on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway on Saturday morning. Soon after the blast, officials began investigating whether it was related to militancy.
The Santro car has been completely destroyed and officials claim that some eyewitnesses had told them that the vehicle’s driver had managed to flee from the spot but is said to have been injured. The security agencies are looking for the driver.

Pakistani F-16 aircraft and drones passed on Monday morning very near from the Indian border. According to sources, Indian radars confirmed the passage of 4 F-16 fighter jets and drones at around 3 am in the morning. After this, India sent Sukhoi-30 and Mirage Fighter Jet to disperse them. After this the convoy of Pakistani fighter jets returned.

Jaish-e-Mohammad chief Masood Azhar listed as global terrorist by UN after China lifts technical hold.

In March, China had put a hold on the proposal to blacklist Azhar after France moved a resolution following the February 14 Pulwama suicide bombing that killed 40 CRPF troopers. Beijing had said it needed more time to “study” the matter but added that it was “sincere” about building better ties with India.

Despite Pakistan’s efforts to deceive the world on the Indian airstrikes on the Jaish-e-Muhammad camp, small details of what happened in Balakot in the wee hours of February 26.

As it is well known now, the IAF strike was carried out at around 3.30 am. Based on the different inputs that have been gathered over the last several weeks , it can now also be safely said that the impact of the strike immediately killed a large number of JeM cadres. The numbers estimated have ranged from 130-170, including those who have died during treatment.
