Last I heard, Boghossian is now under investigation by his university, on the basis that performing this hoax amounts to "unauthorized human experimentation" on the journal editors and reviewers.

yup, peer review same thing, "circle jerk" between the ones that tell you what is what with science ect
but they ignore the real science

Science, research, and published studies are all shit nowadays.

Nearly the large majority of it is not empirical at all.



In my final year of university studies I was hired part time at a toxicology lab at the university. They were doing research on the effect of benzene in fetal development (on rats and mice). The study was funded by several of the tobacco giants in Canada.

When the study was complete, the funding sources did not like the results of the study (it showed horrible defects and increased cancer rates in the mothers and the fetuses). So the principal investigator was told to scrap it and redo it all and to "make sure it was done correctly" (aka in favour of the big tobacco funders). The new study secretly skewed the data and "showed" no cause of concern. And it was published in numerous journals.


So yeah, ever since then I knew never to trust any piece of science from that point on.

They shouldnt worry. They'll be seen as heroes by the normal public.

Only leftists, marxists, and mentally unstable people will be the ones who hate them.

This is where Bogossian can write a book and crucify these idiots while making a mint. How dare they expose these departments for the absolute farce they are. That could potentially cost colleges billions of $ in lost revenue.

Just for fun I got a BA in my 30's, and I was amazed at the total bullshit that goes on in universities, and the kids just eat it up because they don't know any better.

I had been married, worked a few jobs, and owned a business.

I did a lot of arguing with the professors, and the kids looked bewildered, and completely confused. Those fucking idiots (professors), had never been out of academia.

It should be against the law for anyone to teach that has never worked professionally in their given field.

Academia is a total joke.

Not surprised in the least.

EVERYTHING is about "The Agenda"(TM).
Facts and brains must be left at the door.

And thats the problem with the school system.

A person I went to high school with ended up being a teacher in high school.

He teaches a business class. He has never once in his life operated any business whatsoever.

Those who can't do usually end up teaching.
Lots of truth to that statement.
Finding good teachers is a must for anyone serious about learning.

Perhaps we need to bring back apprenticeship for many professions, not just the trades.
