So I listened to the whole thing. Basically, the first part they were talking about how dangerous this political turmoil is for us. We are focused on internal political fighting and BS when we should be focused on Russia, Iran and Turkey posturing itself around the world. Israel may be forced to react against Iran soon because of this.

Mike also discussed the pulses and their incoming dates. December 10th is a glancing blow, December 16th is a direct hit and their is another direct hit around January 13th.
December 16 almost lines up perfectly with OP's December 17 date.

There was a lot more interesting discussion about how another system was approaching our solar system from the south. Then, we are speeding toward another system to our north. This will create gravitational problems for us.
