Hopefully that CME on Tuesday morning was BS. The CME that caused the 1989 blackout took 3 1/2 days to reach Earth.
Quoting: Broose it was solar wind from CH not CME. There was a solar filament ejection but it headed away from earth...it wasn't directed towards us...It actually reacted to the energy on the 10th.....went towards it like a magnet.
