NOLA, thanks for all the work you do on here. Reading vs listening--big difference.
Quoting: eddy2 No problem. It makes a big difference especially lately. So much information gets thrown in all over the place that you miss things when you only listen.  reading is essential to my total grasp.. an important part of it... some people hear better.. some others read better in terms of retention. I had a friend in nursing school who took written notes like everyone else and got C's mostly. When she got a recorder for the lectures and then listened again to the recorded audio.. she became an A student. If I have to listen I miss a lot and reading is my strength.
