Don't accept anything at face value. Be sure you're making healthy decisions, getting adequate rest and spending proper time reflecting on things. |

(OP) User ID: 77420690 United States 03/17/2019 10:26 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Actually the video claims that St. Patrick was a Seventh-day Adventist, which is kind of hard to believe because Seventh-day Adventist church was founded in the mid-1800s. Quoting: Masiro® You must have missed that part even though you linked right to that clip in the video... You are correct that that is the language that Jim uses in that clip, which I happen to find very unfortunate because it does convey the facts from the book he is referencing in a somewhat confusing and seemingly dishonest way. However he obviously was not trying to be deceitful, because as you stated, it's common knowledge that the SDA organized church did not begin until around 1844. All he was trying to say was that he believed the same way that SDA's do regarding keeping saturday, and righteousness by faith that doesn't claim the 10 commandments were done away with. Obviously I understood what he was saying, and figured others would as well, and wasn't trying to be deceitful, or I wouldn't have linked right to that part...think. Nonetheless it doesn't change the facts from the book he's relaying that indicate the Patrick was a Bible-believing Sabbath keeper who had nothing to do with the Roman Catholic Church. Obviously it's not wise to get hung up on the semantics and an over literalization relating to the relaying of those facts to justify ignorning the historical record. (OP) User ID: 77420690 United States 03/17/2019 11:05 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The prophecies of the Holy Bible have never failed (take for example the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple in 70AD, or the 365+ detailed prophecies predicting the 1st coming of Jesus). History and archaeology have only ever proven the Bible. And right now endtime Bible prophecy is being fulfilled signaling the end of the world and the 2nd coming of Christ. So as history continues to prove the Bible is the Word of God, one can be sure, that though the wicked would see the creation of a new world order under lucifer, or the eradication of religion altogether, the outcome has already been foretold: "And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever."-Revelation 11:15 "Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him."-Psalm 2 Which side of history will you be on? Soon it will be too late. Repent.
