Truth of the day...

We see the world falling
We know who they are
From mist it is calling
The light of our star

Through murder and blindness
Through days of despair
A fall out of kindness
Forgotten to care

You find yourself weightless
The path you have gone
In midst of this mindless
Despite of your shone

You see it in others
It lives in your self
The innermost sacred
The well of the wells

But how is to choose it
In a world that’s gone mad
And what about goodness
When all seems so bad

For are we forsaken
Forgot and for lost
Without any clue to
Find truth in the dust

Or are we just broken
In darkness to see
That even here lies
A road to be free

For all of our sisters
And brothers alike
To see the connection
No longer to strike

To hear in the silence
To know without words
That something is living
That no thing can hurt

A song for the voiceless
A road for the lost
A stillness of water
For ships that are tossed

And when so you hear it
You know that it lives
Forever inside you
And grow when you give

For love is for sharing
And care is to care
And even through hopeless
A path where we dare

So mind over matter
A light in the dark
Together remember
The truth in our spark

And take all this broken
This sadness and fear
And speak the unspoken
The distant make near
