No it's pointless, Jesus made it clear every individual has his own relationship with God, there's no group relationship where you're just carried along. EVERYTHING is just you and God. All the fake versions allow group activities, benefits and punishment, and if you haven't figured out why that matters you have no clue. Ritual and obsession with worldly things is not Christian,at least not according to what Jesus said, so, how is it suddenly the primary thing to do? It's reversion to prechristian tribal self deification and nothing more, and, according to their laws YOU don't QUALIFY for membership, ever.

Christianity is about SELF IMPROVEMENT to a universal standard, no fixation on supernatural soap opera events and ritual, or for that matter, following old testament tribal traditions or levitical law, since a fair number are completely contrary to Christian principles
