Registered sex offender and multimillionaire financier Jeffrey Epstein allegedly had three poor 12-year-old girls living in France flown in as a "birthday present" for him from a friend, an alleged sexual assault victim claimed in a Florida civil suit.

The disturbing allegations resurfaced in light of Epstein's apparent suicide in his Metropolitan Correction Center jail cell last week.

"The worst one that I heard from his own mouth was this pretty 12 year old girls he had flown in for his birthday," alleged victim Virginia Roberts, who now goes by Virginia Giuffre, said of Epstein, according to The Sun.

“It was a surprise birthday gift from one of his friends and they were from France. I did see them, I did meet them," she said, noting, "Jeffrey bragged afterwards after he met them that they were 12-year-olds and flown over from France because they're really poor over there, and their parents needed the money or whatever the case is and they were absolutely free to stay and flew out."

Jeffrey Epstein employed an army of "disciples" through a complex network of companies for many years to recruit girls and young women to have sex with him, according to allegations in three lawsuits filed Tuesday.

Among the allegations is that Epstein arranged to have one of the women marry another woman so the woman could get permanent U.S. residence allowing her to stay in the country. One of the suits allege that Epstein continued to have sex with underage girls while he was on work release serving a Florida jail sentence under the watch of sheriff's deputies.

One of Jeffrey Epstein’s public accusers claims she had to give a foot massage to The Simpsons creator Matt Groening while on the rich criminal’s private jet, though she was repulsed by the cartoonist’s “crusty toes,” according to newly-released court documents.
Hours prior to Epstein’s August 10th death, more than 2,000 pages of documents were released, related to a since-settled lawsuit against Epstein’s ex-girlfriend by Virginia Giuffre, one of his accusers. The records contain graphic allegations against Epstein, as well as the transcript of a 2016 deposition of the millionaire in which he repeatedly refused to answer questions to avoid incriminating himself. According to the documents, Giuffre alleges she met Groening aboard Epstein’s private plane, dubbed elsewhere as the “Lolita Express,” and that he asked her to give the cartoonist a foot massage during their flight from Carmel, California, to Los Angeles. Giuffre, 35, claims the incident occurred roughly 20 years ago, when she was 16.

“I was enjoying our conversation, when Jeffrey insisted that I give Matt a foot massage throughout the duration of the short flight,” Giuffre alleges in the documents. “I never turned down a client but when I saw the shape of his feet, I nearly threw up at the thought of having to touch them.”

Before it was published, Epstein himself had shown up at the Vanity Fair offices and spoke to then-editor-in-chief Graydon Carter, reported NPR.

“He was torturing Graydon,” says John Connolly, a Vanity Fair contributing editor at the time. Epstein pressed Carter on the story, later repeatedly calling him. Carter later received a severed head of a dead cat and a bullet at his apartment.

Carter told the Hollywood Reporter that the magazine didn’t have three sources, which it considered necessary, later telling NPR that Vicky Ward, the reporter, didn’t have three sources that met the outlet’s “legal threshold.”

Annie and Maria Farmer, and their mother, Janice Farmer, told NPR they all agreed to go on the record regarding the accusations. “We hoped the story would put people on notice and they would be stopped from abusing other young girls and young women. That didn’t happen. In the end, the story that ran erased our voices,” they said in a statement.

Ultimately, the story did run in March 2003, titled, “The Talented Mr. Epstein” — with zero mention of the sisters’ allegations.

“It was terribly painful,” the sisters told NPR in a statement. “We hoped the story would put people on notice and they would be stopped from abusing other young girls and young women. That didn’t happen. In the end, the story that ran erased our voices.”

Shortly after publication, Connolly claimed, Carter found a bullet just outside the door of his Manhattan home.

“That wasn’t a coincidence,” Connolly said.

But according to the magazine, the bullet did not appear immediately after the story was published, but rather in “subsequent years.”

Carter said in a statement issued to the Post that the magazine never backed off any of its reporting because of the threats.

“During my 25 years at Vanity Fair, we took the legal requirements for reporting incredibly seriously on every story, particularly pieces in which the subject was a private person and therefore rigorously protected by libel laws,” he said. “And the fact remains that Ms. Ward’s reporting on this most important topic did not meet our legal threshold when we published the piece in 2003.”

There was never any evidence to connect the threats to Epstein — or anyone, he said.
