Manipulating people by letting them ask questions?

Manipulating people for telling them to look closer at what is happening?

Manipulating people by telling them the President feels this "way" or that "way" about these "issues" is hurting us?

And stating how much information is available without getting in trouble is manipulating us?

If this ENTITY did the opposite of the above, then I would agree.


All they did was give free information and said to just "watch the show".
That's not "manipulation". Here, let's break this down.

Manipulation is the skillful handling, 1.controlling or using of something or someone. ... But this word also has some negative connotations — a manipulative person knows how to 2.twist words, 3.play on emotions and otherwise 4. manage a situation in a sneaky fashion 5.to get what he wants.


1. I don't feel controlled or used for anything

2. I do not feel he twisted anything

3. He did use emotional words and phrases, but that was for the moment and it took nothing away from me.

4. He managed nothing of me and it was not done in a manner that I was unfamiliar with or in a underhanded way---he was upfront as can be.

5. He took nothing from me. My attention for the moment, but he left just as quickly. There was no time lost in any discussion because it was frank and to the point disclosed what he wanted to say. It was like seeing an old friend and having a brief discussion and then returning to our normal duties as citizens.

As for what this has to do with the other two people mentioned, I can't really agree on that end either.

All this has to do with opinions and discussions. THAT'S ALL.

I would say that if that in itself is some 'out of the ordinary experience' for some people then, they need to connect with people more.
As I see it, it was less than nothing really, except to promote critical thought!

As for why I'm writing this, whatever the discussions were they were amongst ADULTS that know when manipulation occurs and it doesn't fit what I read. I have no problem not listening to something I have no interest in, it's my choice. I have a choice in everything I do. The person asked nothing of me.

I listen to many people discussing many thing's.

Why is it that this "Q" has to be labeled as this or that...who's business is it what I read and who I listen too?

This sounds a bit like sour grapes. You don't want to read or listen about "Q"---DON'T.

There's no shame in that. But as for me and my house, I don't need someone else telling me to the contrary. I gave up listening to opinions from adults I didn't know when I became an adult.
