The way the chief of police addressed the media seemed really fake and insincere. He seemed to be acting according to some damage control protocol.

It shouldn't take 10 officers to subdue anybody. Why so many police for just traffic violations?

I live a 1/4 mile from where this happened and there were cops all over town the whole day leading up to this. They were certainly out in force everywhere in the city several hours before this incident.

I got pulled over, maybe 15 years ago, doing 90 MPH at night, after drinking all day at camp with the family...guarantee I'd melt breathalyzer if he had suspected I was drinking lol but I actually talked my way out of even a warning. No ticket, no ass beating, no jail time, no fines...simply because I didn't go nuts

My son dialed me up and let me listen to his conversation with a cop, when he was pulled over...yeah he's smart, and he was honest and cool with the cop but didn't kiss ass...he left without a ticket
